Kyla is a self-taught artist born and raised in Pinedale, Wyoming. At 25 years old and a proud mother, she began seriously pursuing her artistic passions just two years ago and is now excited to share her work with the Jackson community for the first time. Inspired by the beauty and vibrancy of the Wyoming landscape, Kyla’s work celebrates the spirit and character of the region she calls home. Her submission, A Blaze of the West, reflects her love of bold color and meaningful storytelling, offering a fresh perspective on Wyoming’s identity. Drawing inspiration from the state’s monikers, “The Cowboy State” and the “Equality State,” her design pays tribute to “The Cowgirl State,” celebrating both tradition and the women who contribute to the culture of the West.
